What type of organization is Indiana Works, Inc.?
Indiana Works is an Indiana nonprofit corporation exempt from Federal income tax as an organization described in Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Code"). Names of contributors along with the amount of their contribution will be available to the public at www.indianaworks.net. Contributions to Indiana Works will fund transition and inaugural expenses as well as be used to recognize those who have proudly served America through the Indiana National Guard Relief Fund.
Are contributions to Indiana Works, Inc. tax deductible?
Please be advised that your contributions or gifts are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes. The statement is provided pursuant to Section 6113 of the Code. Contributors are urged to consult their tax advisors as to whether their contributions or gifts are otherwise deductible for Federal income tax purposes.
What types of contributions to Indiana Works, Inc. are accepted?
Unlimited corporate, personal, partnership and association contributions are accepted. Investment advisers, brokers, dealers, municipal securities dealers, and political action committees are subject to special restrictions and are urged to consult with their legal advisors prior to making any contributions.
How may I send a contribution?
Contributions may be made by check or credit card. Please make checks payable to "Indiana Works, Inc. (Tax ID Number: 46-1375513).
